Data Sources
GeoGPT supports a wide range of industry-standard GIS formats. All files are processed on the backend using GDAL and specialized spatial libraries.
Supported Formats

| Raster | .tif, .tiff | GeoTIFF satellite imagery or elevation models. |
| Vector | .shp, .zip | ESRI Shapefiles (upload as .zip for all components). |
| Web Formats | .geojson, .json, .kml | Standard web-based spatial data formats. |
File Management
Uploaded files are stored in your session. You can manage them via the Files tab in the sidebar:
- Toggle layer visibility on the map
- View detailed metadata and CRS info
- Delete files from the current session
- Switch between multiple active datasets
